This girl that lives on my street got a scholarship to the university of north carolina to play basketball, she is easily going to make the WNBA she pretty much whoops my ass when we play.

I know girls can hoop and all WNBA players could probably beat me. But I would rather headbutt a wall for an hour than watch it. I was a student assistant for the women's basketball team at the university I attended. I respect the players but come on, it is not a fun sport to watch.

Well basketball is better than watching Baseball or Soccer, and cricket sometimes.

I LOVE men's college basketball, women's basketball at any level is just a bad product. Watching baseball on TV is boring unless it is the playoffs, but in person it is awesome(Go White Sox). I have never watched cricket and don't know anything about it really.

Real football (soccer for american assholes) is greater then all, only thing that is on par with it is Rugby.

Flannan I'm a big "football" (GO REDS!) fan but I have to edcuate you as to why soccer is used and why it is appropriate.


Way back when in the 1700's there was no football but school in Rugby, Warwickshire England came up with this game that they called "football." This game however was a very rough and tumble game.

Now fastforward to the 1800's more young gentleman want to play football but its still deemed too rough for most polite folks to play.

So The Football Assocation was formed to make a more gentleman's sport out of the thuggish game that emerged out of Rugby.


Thus it became to common for to people playing "Association" style football to call it "soccer" for short and the same occured for the other form of "football" which became "rugby" in the general parlance.



Soccer is a proud and good word to represent the history of The Beautiful Game.

Soccer is fucking boring as shit, i watched the euro cup at my buddy's place it was horrible, so many fake injuries and shit. All they do is pass for about an hour then have the occasional blind goal that the goalie had no chance of saying.

Football is on par with rugby(watching wise) but i think football is better because there are much harder hits (here comes a sports debate...)

And i have played both sports, i was a blind spot flanker on my highschool team, we made it to OFSAA and won in Ontario. Which basically means that we are the best highschool varsity team in a province of Canada.

My football team came third place in the season and i played as a right guard and center sometimes.

So i understand both games fairly well to tell you that football is way better than both sports while watching atleast.

Soccer makes me fall asleep, no lies i fell asleep watching Russia vs Spain.

When I typed "wnba" into youtube all I got was porn.

Hocket>Tennis>rudby>football>.......................................................>baseball

it the worse game ever is boring long and cheap as hell...
